DIY: Studded Pieces

I had so much fun making my own studded pieces! I love studded denim pieces but I don't have any, so I thought instead of buying some, I can just make my own as I have some old denim pieces laying around! Love love love the brass round studs on my high-waisted black shorts! Now I just can't wait to do more studded pieces and make them look new and fun!

From chemises and blouses to pants and bags, snakeskin pieces have become in vogue at the moment, especially the snakeskin shoes! Shoes are the best and the easiest way for you to rock the snakeskin trend if you are shy away from wild snakeskin prints. There are so many kinds of snakeskin shoes that you can mix and match your outfits, from simple flats and classic pumps to sexy sandals and edgy boots. Keeping the rest of your outfit simple and classic that can make your statement snakeskin shoes really pop.

The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier is Coming to San Francisco!

The "Enfant Terrible" of Fashion: French Designer, Jean Paul Gaultier

Jaul Paul Gaultier's teddy bear, Nana is the first risk-taker wearing cone bras

Jean Paul Gaultier designed cone bra for Madonna’s “Blond Ambition” tour, which has since become an iconic design for himself and Madonna as well.

He used underwear as outerwear/ Put men in women's skirts

Tatoo tights/ Brought street fashion such as denim and punk to the catwalk

If there’s one thing that Jean Paul Gaultier hates, it must be convention. Known as the enfant terrible of fashion, he has broke so many rules to accomplish his outstanding and impressed design with his radical ideas. He used underwear as outerwear, put men in women’s skirts, and brought street fashion such as punk and denim to the catwalk. He mixed East and West, high and low, classic and street, masculine and feminine. But one thing about Gaultier’s fashion was always correct: the quality.

The highly anticipated Jean Paul Gaultier Exhibit, “The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to theCatwalk” is coming to San Francisco! The exhibit opens at the de Young museum on March 24, 2012 to August 19, 2012. Don’t forget to mark your calendar for the show! I can't wait to see the show!
