Next February, Derek Lam will not only show his fall 2011 collection, but also launch the exclusive ready-to-wear inexpensive collection for eBay. The online shoppers will be invited to vote on what they like and actually would buy. The favorites will make up the final collection, which will be available in May at very friendly and accessible prices on eBay. Lam said that he's just doing what's good for both business and his customers. "Having a direct and immediate dialogue with the online audience is what makes fashion exciting and relevant in this moment," and "eBay’s technology offers me a unique and innovative opportunity to reach new and existing customers directly, and to create fashion they desire.", said Lam. Can't wait to see the price point and the new collection.
