Honeysuckle is the Color of 2011 Says Pantone

Color Authority Pantone says that the color of 2011 will be "honeysuckle", calling it a brave new color. It's kind of perfect vibrant pink looks fresh and new, which replaces last year's turquoise.

 “In times of stress, we need somethng to lift our spirits,” 

explains Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute.  ”Honeysuckle is a captivating, stimulating color that gets the adrenaline going — perfect to ward off the blues.  Honeysuckle derives its positive qualities from a powerful bond to its mother color red, the most physical, viscerally alive hue in the spectrum.”
