The "Enfant Terrible" of Fashion: French Designer, Jean Paul Gaultier
Jaul Paul Gaultier's teddy bear, Nana is the first risk-taker wearing cone bras
Jean Paul Gaultier designed cone bra for Madonna’s “Blond Ambition” tour, which has since become an iconic design for himself and Madonna as well.
He used underwear as outerwear/ Put men in women's skirts
Tatoo tights/ Brought street fashion such as denim and punk to the catwalk
If there’s one thing that Jean
Paul Gaultier hates, it must be convention. Known as the enfant terrible of
fashion, he has broke so many rules to accomplish his outstanding and impressed
design with his radical ideas. He used underwear as outerwear, put men in women’s
skirts, and brought street fashion such as punk and denim to the catwalk. He
mixed East and West, high and low, classic and street, masculine and feminine. But
one thing about Gaultier’s fashion was always correct: the quality.
