Proenza Schouler Fall 2012

Forgive me to make this post so long, but I bet you'll enjoy the show! The designer duo Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough never stop proposing new silhouettes and creative ideas for us. It was such a daring show full of subtle Asian influences. Just like Hernandez explained, "It's Asian, but in a New York way. "It was so much fun seeing how the designer duo blended the Asian style into Proenza Schouler style! They came in the form of karate, kimono shapes, obi belts, beautiful embroidered brocades. Inspired by the idea of protection, the designers opened the show with several oversized and boxy looks and made it like an official PS trend!

Proenza Schouler Spring 2012 Handbags

Though this bag looks a little big too much to me, I love the shape of this one. The bag remains the PS1 signature buckle closure but looks more unisex than the original PS1 satchel.
And I just found this python PS1 tote in a beautiful color at Barneys, $4250.

PS11 is always so alluring! The color combination of lemon green and yellow is just so fresh and spring like.

Proenza Schouler: PS11 Mini Classic shoulder bag

PS11 mini bag has always been my dream bag, this lovely vintage color combination gives the classic bag an instant glam! If you are tired of carrying black and brown bags, why not try some bright colors to balance your look! Oh, it's absolutely a stunning item for the fall and winter seasons! Totally love it.

The Looks I'm Loving From Proenza Schouler Resort 2012

Here are the looks I'm loving from Proenza Schouler Resort 2012! I enjoy last season's Navajo-patterned collections so much. It's so much fun to see how they transformed such traditional textiles and patters into chic collections. This time, they came up with something interesting, hippy and young. I like the patchwork style like this, very simple, clear and fun! The first dress is my favorite item of the collection. The fitted suit goes with the shorts and the dress so well. And the color combination makes the collection vintage chic. The last two pictures of orange and green shorts are absolutely cute with the pocket details. How do you think about this collection?
