Jason Wu's First Bridal Collection for Net-A-Porter

Jason Wu is going to create a bridal line for Net-A-Porter. I'm so excited to see the bridal collection after designing Michelle Obama's inauguration gown. I kind of like his recent collections which look very feminine yet modern. The capsule collection is only a one-year deal with Net-A-Porter, which includes five exclusive ivory dresses, floor-length gowns, ivory tulle, chiffon, embroidery corset and skirt paired with them. This first bridal collection will launch in January, the dresses will range in price from $795 to $4,000.
As he told WWD: " I wanted to create an exclusive bridal collection for Net-A-Porter that is both youthful and injected with elements of American sportswear, which I favor for my collections. The capsule collection includes wonderful options for a bride, but also has a relaxed attitude with pieces that can be worn to other occasions.”

The spokeswoman for Wu said that he has no plans to do wholesale, full-scale bridal-wear beyond that. But undoubtedly, everyone is looking forward to seeing this fashion wedding dress collection.
